How a Referral Works
Simple for Your Office. Supportive for Your Client
1. CONNECT
Your office or your client contacts Laura to get started.
2. ASSESS
The appropriate regulated health professional assesses the client’s clinical presentation and rehabilitation needs.
3. PLAN
Where clinically appropriate, an individualized rehabilitation plan is recommended based on the assessment and the clinician’s professional judgment.
4. COMMUNICATE
With the client’s authorization, relevant rehabilitation information can be communicated to legal counsel and, separately, to other appropriate members of the client’s healthcare team.
Supporting Both MIG and Non-MIG Rehabilitation Needs
Every motor vehicle accident and every injured person is different.
Our clinicians assess each client individually. Where appropriate, rehabilitation may proceed within the applicable Minor Injury Guideline (MIG) framework.
Where a client’s clinical presentation indicates that further assessment or rehabilitation outside that framework may be appropriate, the relevant findings and recommendations are documented and the applicable process is followed.
Clinical findings—not the availability of insurance benefits—guide our treatment recommendations.
